El Raval Bench
The El Raval neighbourhood in Barcelona is a meeting point for muiltitudes. Close to the old port, the area was also informally known as Barri Xinès or "Chinatown” in the past but today an immigrant community from all parts call it home. Yabu Pushelberg’s diverse references for the El Raval bench blend together cohesively as the namesake neighbourhood’s inhabitants do.
A mixed materials piece includes a handwoven natural rattan base which is placed over a solid walnut frame and supported by a smoked bronze frame. The leather or fabric of your choice will be upholstered by Austrian craftsmen.
