Mainkai Table

Mainkai, or Main River Quay in English, is the riverside boulevard in Frankfurt, Germany, close to where designer Sebastian Herkner has lived his whole life. The fishing floats and mooring buoys along the river inspired the Mainkai lamp.

The lamp’s integrated button on the top stem dims its ethereal glow of its hand-blown glass globes up and down seamlessly as the tide. The LED light has a medium colour temperature of 2700K but can be customized cooler or warmer on request.  The base in available in Nero Marquina or Marron Emperador marble. Mainkai is made by craftsmen in Germany not far from the boulevard it is named after.
